Zomadic - Customer Case Study

In this month's case study we talk to Rob Bell, Founder of Zomadic, a design/build company that focusses on the creative use of CNC.

We learn more about how Rob first discovered 'Zome' architecture, his approach to building these fascinating buildings and how VCarve Pro has been an invaluable tool in supporting his production. We also get to see a selection of his previous projects and a sneak peek of his ambitious 2012 design - 'The Two Trees of Zonotopia'.

Cut2D 1.5 - New Release - Free Update!

We are pleased to announce the launch of Cut2D 1.5! This latest release is a free upgrade from Cut2D 1.0 and comes packed with new features such as the new line drawing tool, an enhanced tool database and a quick engraving toolpath strategy to name a few.

To compliment the release we have also added over 2 hours of free training material that come complete with supporting files (available for the full release and trial download).

Events 2012

Vectric staff will be in attendance at the Maker Faire in San Mateo on May 19th and 20th. We will be also be exhibiting at the IWF show in Atlanta this summer (August 22nd – 25th) our Booth number is 5839. If you're going to be at either event then come and say hello. We are also in the early stages of organizing our annual User Group, which will again be around October somewhere in the US; we hope to have more details about the User Group in our next newsletter.
