Free Project of the Month -
Wooden Roller Massagers

This month's case study, created by Michael Tyler for Vectric, will help you make the most out of material scraps. The wooden roller massagers (right), could be personalised as a gift, or make a popular item to sell at craft shows. The project is available to download free of charge for all VCarve Pro 7 & Aspire 4 customers.

Customer Case Study - Shane Smith

For this month's case study we got in touch with long time Aspire user Shane Smith of The Wildlife Gallery.

In the article we look at how Shane started using CNC technology as well as his experience using Vectric software. He then describes a number of his projects, including the desk you can see in the preview image to the right. There is also a mini gallery that showcases a number of other impressive pieces that Shane has produced over the years.

NEW - Introduction to CNC Guide

Last month we announced the publication of our new Introduction to CNC guide, which is freely available on the Vectric website. The content is designed to help make the technical nature of CNC a little easier to understand, with explanations of some of the most important concepts and technical jargon

The web pages in this section of the site contain a summary of the key points, this is also accompanied by an in-depth 43-page PDF document which contains a more detailed set of information about the subject.

After publishing this last month we have had excellent feedback from CNC beginners saying how useful they found the information in this guide.
