Hi

I'm looking for a supplier in the UK for round over/ radius cutters with no centre, they allow you to go into tight corners etc.
I'm going to be doing some lettering and need about 3mm radius.

The nesting in V carve has fitted the lettering in nicely as well so I pleased with that.

Thanks
Steve

Something like this?

http://www.wealdentool.com/acatalog/Onl ... d_218.html

I use Wealden for all my cutters.

Yes that the one, thanks, I spent ages searching and couldn't find a supplier at all.
Could have done with 3mm but 4mm will be fine.

Again thanks

Wow! I'll be using them again, very fast service.
Ordered them Tuesday at 3pm and arrived in the post the next day, good prices too.

Blew me away the first time I ordered from them too. I don't think I've ever had an order that hasn't arrived next day.

Steve,

Like you I'm just finding my way around the UK cutter suppliers. Not so many eh?
Thanks for the Wealden lead Adrian, very useful. I'll be using that for sure.

Ideally I wanted to begin with Budget items (machine only running since 2 days ago) as I'm bound to wreck one or two cutters (how right I was!) and move on to the choice stuff when I can trust myself. And there's always that odd 'rough' job in the future.

I came across a shop selling 'Silverline' cutters which are amazingly cheap to buy, so I risked a few quid...I'm amazed how good their cutters are, especially in the case of a cutter you don't use often, say a 1" spoilboard cutter. Not top drawer I'm sure, can't be, but they do that job as well as I can judge up to date, although they are as unforgiving of a slightly higher-than-the-rest spoilboard securing screw head as a £50 cutter would be! I know this! Unfortunately Silverline don't sell from their website so you need to find a stockist....Or convince a local shop that they should stock them!

Regards

Steve
