Pizza Cutter!

Post by BSImages »

Now this is a pizza cutter on steroids!
It is Red Oak and Poplar laminated together with a 1/2 Oz. domed copper bullion coin for an accent.
With it's 4" cutting wheel it will cut any pizza it come across!

I don't eat pizza but that is so cool I may have to try to make a steampunk version of it just to show off!

Good job!

Nice job!!
That handle design could be converted to use for a walking stick also?

Cheers,
Kym

Nice design for a pizza cutter. I like how it forms to the hand. The design could be used on other stuff that needs a handle. Thanks for showing it.

I originally designed it as an ergonomic walking stick handle and it worked so well at that, that I thought I would give a try on a pizza cutter...

I like the look of that cutter.
Just one thing I see that might improve the project. If you flip and turn every other handle you could get more handles out of the same size stock and would lower the cost of each cutter.

I tried that, but with two sided cutting and the use of tabs made it too unstable for an accurate cut.
