Re: Biesse Rover
There is a "Biesse Rover Arcs (mm)" processor in VCarve. There have been a few posts on here from people who were having trouble actually getting the data onto the machine, but if you've got that bit worked out that processor should work fine I would think.
Re: Biesse Rover
I am using Biesse Rover A3.3. I modified the original post processer ("Biesse Rover Arcs (mm)") a little and it works great for me. After you save the tool paths to your working directory at the machine open it with the old style editor (program editor) NOT biesse works. The code from vectric is gcode and not visual basic like biesse works that is why you have to load the file with the program editor. You might have to set some parameters and save before loading the file to the plc.

Hello Charlie,
I believe that you have sent me some files, I have a number of custom post
processors to look at, you are on my list.
Cheers,
Mark.

Re: Biesse Rover
Well I thought I would update, we got the vectric to work on the Biesse. 1ST thing is to make sure your the vectirc is set to work in MM, then have the tools named the same as what you have in the machine. Also open the post and you will see the tool name, Example: "End Mill 3MM" the 3MM needs to be deleted and then at the end of the program you need to add the %. Otherwise wants its done running the program it will give you a error. Thanks to Jim Mcgrew for helping me with the programming. I will be buying this software in the near future. If I can help anyone else out just let me know. Yes, I will post a picture when I get completed this week.
