here is my cnc say that a useful area of 120mm 830mmx530mm with z
guides with recirculating ball on the xy axis, the x 15mm double shoe
per side instead of the dual y 20 with two runners for a guide.
the z axis (which I absolutely change) bar with a DA16 block
which are the bearings.
handling use screws with 16mm ball
snail, both the x and y spin the nut and the screw remains stationary
z instead of the classical motion screw pulley.
The frame is made with iron when the plane leveled and MDF
put on a plane aluminum attachment (soon to change with
another system)
All movements have relationship with 1 / 1
I used the hummingbird with electronic flash drives os 1078 on all
axis motors sixth with 3N.

Great sign and nice router. I liked the way you mounted the stepper that moves the gantry.

I also like it as well.

May I ask for more information on your "Bellows" for the "Y" axis? It's amazing how compact they get for the distance they cover, I'd like to hear more about the design and materials you used.

Thanks for sharing-
Dave

fretsman68: the boot is a waterproof sheet folded, is housed in the channel flowing.
guides were mounted upside down on the x axis, y axis guides are mounted in a head to the beam and the other front.
the structure is made in wrought iron and where I could not pay is screwed by bolts M 6 or M8 and then corrected, the correction took place mainly where they are resting guides[/color]
