What's New in VCarve Pro 6.5
VCarve Pro 6.5 provides a significant upgrade to version 6.0 in all areas of the software - from drawing tools to toolpath preview simulation.

Design Tools
Version 6.5 introduces the new Create Arc design tool that allows the creation of a single arc span by using precise input values or by dynamically drawing within the 2D view.
Added previously in VCarve Pro 6 was the ability to bend, flex or warp all vector shapes, including text, so you can produce much more interesting and dynamic designs using the Distort Object tool.

Toolpaths
VCarve Pro 6.5 includes improved Pass Depth Control when creating Profile Toolpaths, giving the user much more control over this important setting.
The previous VCarve Pro 6 release saw the addition of a fully hierarchical tool database in addition to the ability to save the whole toolpath strategy (complete with tool/s and settings). This made adding and organizing frequently used tools much easier to manage along with the benefits to efficiency of being able to load toolpath data and apply it automatically to new artwork using the new Toolpath Templates.

Other Enhancements
A very useful new feature in VCarve Pro 6.5 allows users to Preview and Print their 2D layout and 3D toolpath simulation directly from the software. In addition to help identify previously saved files the software will now display a thumbnail showing the contents of the job when viewing the .CRV files in Windows Explorer. Some additional parameters have also been added to the embedded calculation functionality.
In addition to the features listed above there were many other features, enhancements and performance improvements in VCarve Pro 6. For a full list of these, please click here. |
