Vectric Aquire's Vector Art 3D
We are delighted to announce that Vectric has officially acquired Vector Art 3D, formalizing the merger of the two CNC orientated businesses.
Brian Moran, Managing Director at Vectric and James Booth, President of Vector Art 3D recently signed the official documents to formalise Vectric's acquisition of the vastly popular 3D clipart resource provider.
Vector Art 3D (www.vectorart3d.com) a US based company provided 3D models and services specifically for use with a CNC machine. This acquisition will allow Vectric's products to provide a unique level of integration with Vector Art 3D's library of exceptional quality 3D clipart, created over a period of more than six years by its highly talented team of artists.
Now relocated to the Vectric Headquarters, UK, James Booth has joined the Vectric team as Creative Director, bringing with him valuable commercial experience, drive and creative flair that will be a huge asset to the company. As well as this, James' practical experience in modeling for manufacturing will be an invaluable resource for our development team when creating the next generation of our CNC software tools.
"We're excited about adding the Vector Art 3D resources to our organization. By combining the software and the content we will provide a product which offers our customers unique benefits in terms of capabilities and ease of use." Brian Moran.
"Vectric and Vector Art 3D already share common aims to provide their customers with genuinely useful but easy to use products. Joining the companies creates an opportunity for product development to make even more focused solutions to satisfy these ideals." James Booth.
