Pizza Serving Board

I think universally we can all agree that pizza is great. Pizza is there where you’re hungry, pizza is there when you’re down, pizza is even there after a hard days work. And with Nav’s Pizza Serving Board, pizza is there in style. This project is for all of you dough enthusiasts out there who want to serve up a slice while lookin’ nice.

Nav’s Pizza Serving Board acts as both a serving board for the pizza to carry it to and fro, as well as allowing you to grab your own individual slice and have a place for it to rest between bites.

This project utilises 4 main tools in the software:

- Layers

- Offsetting

- Filleting

- Trimming

Using these 4 tools, Nav will show you how use them to your advantage to create all of the parts needed to get some aesthetically pleasing designs. Nav also takes advantage of the sheets feature in the software to organise his designs and crucially, give you a test sheet to play around with if you want to make any changes.

This project makes use of core toolpaths available in Cut2D Desktop, Cut2D Pro, VCarve Desktop, VCarve Pro and Aspire to cut out the base and slices. However, to add a little ‘je ne sais quoi’, Nav also throws in some laser sketch carving and laser text (available with the laser module add-on) to bring some flair to the design.
