Vintage Wooden Spoon Wall Rack

I’m Michael Tyler and for more than 8 years I have been creating Vectric’s Free monthly projects. I’ve made everything from spring wreaths and mantle clocks, to snow sledges and cheeseboards.

Did you know there are already more than 80 projects free for Vectric customers to take advantage of and we’re working on more every month? Each zipped project includes the files relating to the project as well as a comprehensive PDF guide that covers all the key steps help you complete your project - including tips on materials, tooling and finishes. Since 2018 free projects also come with their own video that tells the story of the project from start to finish.

Vintage Wooden Spoon Wall Rack

Welcome to another free, fully documented Vectric project tutorial, created by Michael Tyler using Vectric's VCarve Pro v6 software to produce this "Vintage Wooden Spoon Wall Rack".

This month's Vectric project was inspired by a 100+ year-old, hand chip-carved silver spoon holder wall rack of Dutch (Frisian) origin. This near-replica project can be enjoyed by VCarve Pro 6 owners and Aspire 3 owners alike!

The Vintage Spoon Rack provides unique as well as convenient decorative access for up to four wooden spoons. The plaque can be mounted on a wall or cabinet near the cooking/mixing area of your kitchen.

The available download (zip file) contains:

  • A five page printable PDF document detailing the process, step-by-step.

  • The VCarve Pro files you will need.

  • High-quality images of the finished piece.

(To 'unzip' your file once downloaded, you will need to right-click it in Windows Explorer and select Extract All)

Which Vectric software do I need to be able to open the free project files?
