Pizza Puzzle

Tim is back with another fun project, this time he's making use of some of the new features released in V11 to make a multi-material project full of cheesy goodness... well sort of. This one is fun for the whole family and a great way to learn more about the latest enhancements to the software.

Tim walks you through his design process, starting out with one sheet to do his master design and then breaking out the parts onto their own sheets. Tim adds a bit of a twist, he will be using his laser for one of the parts. If you don't have a laser stay calm, Tim has included both the vectors for his laser cut and also one you can use on your CNC.

Another new feature Tim has utilized is rest machining, this allows for some extra detail to be added to the broccoli-playing pieces.

To showcase the final design with different colors and finishes Tim has used the toolpath preview colors he can better help visualize the final parts.

In addition, Todd has taken Tim’s thoughts about “being creative” and shows you how to make a child-friendly pizza cutter so the imaginative play can feel even more real! The pizza cutter file and PDF are included in this project download!
