Why Vectric?
Here at Vectric we are creators of easy to use design software for CNC routing, milling and engraving.
We are all passionate about the role we play in making CNC a fun, productive and enjoyable experience. We encourage every member of our team to regularly use all our products for projects of their own, we have even created a dedicated machining room for this purpose. We firmly believe this constant focus on usability ensures our software tools remain the best in their class.
As 51% shareholders in the company we are all devoted to working together to provide a comprehensive and quality experience for our users and the CNC community.

For all roles as well as the basic salary, we offer:
- Optional 4-day Compressed Working Week
- We have two 'in-person' days (Tues, Weds) at the office and the other days working remotely supported by dedicated and well-established online tools and tech.
- 15% employer's pension contributions (5% from the employee)
- Private healthcare scheme (including spouse and children)
- Annual bonus (dependent on company performance, but typically equivalent to one month's salary) - up to £3,500 is paid tax free.
EOT Clarification: After 12 months staff become beneficiaries of the Vectric Employee Ownership Trust (EOT). This holds a 51% (controlling) share of Vectric in trust on behalf of the staff. 51% of all dividends thus go to the Trust and are distributed periodically to the staff using an open and consistent formula in proportion to salary and time-served with the company. Please note that this is not a direct contractual part of the remuneration package offered by Vectric Ltd. but automatically results from becoming a staff-beneficiary of the EOT after 12 months of employment. Distributions are made at the discretion of the EOT Trustees (one of whom is elected by staff) independently of Vectric Ltd., it's Managers or Directors. It is, nonetheless, a very important consideration for candidates. Provided the company is profitable, these distributions have the potential to be considerably more significant than the annual bonus. For most of our current staff this has been the case for the last two years.
