Need a reason to use Vectric's software? Here are more than 40...

"Simple design, powerful results. Creating with Vectric is easy and robust, making my ideas come to life effortlessly."

Alma - Pink Soul Studios

"VCarve Pro has enabled me to create anything I can dream up. It is by far the most intuitive software I use for creating complex parts because it simplifies what can be a difficult process to go from design to polished toolpaths."

Scott Cunningham - Woodbotics

"Thanks for putting out your design videos. They are great inspiration for new users. I might have to get a laser for the OneFinity!"

Jeff Lynall

"Thanks for continuing to improve your products. I'm fairly new CNC software, but I enjoy learning new stuff every day. VCarve Pro makes it very easy for me to design and machine my products."

Tim Percy Kayak Fishing

"All of the new features are awesome! Thank you Vectric team for continuing to improve your already amazing software!"

Kyle Ely - Learn your CNC

"The most important part of Vectric software for me is being able to proof check jobs by running simulations within the software to assure perfect results on the CNC, which also reduces waste."

Scott Cunningham - Woodbiotics

"Vectric software is just so easy to use. Your software was a game changer for my business"

Maik - Wooden Signs

"Vectric has been fantastic for me, I have great things to say about it! As a complete novice, Vectric has been a bit of a lifesaver for us here. I wasn’t experienced with CAD at all, complete novice, and I really needed to get to grips with it extremely quickly. Fortunately for me it took me about a week to go from completely nothing to being able to comfortably use this and successfully run off my designs on the smart bench. I know there’s more technical CAD software out there like fusion and SketchUp but I’ve struggled to learn these and Vectric has been such a dream to use."

Ian Morely - Erin's Chair

"I just wanted to send along a note to tell you how much I absolutely love VCarve Pro. Someday, when business warrants it, I will upgrade to Aspire. But right now, it's perfect. I started out on Fusion 360 because I have an extensive background in CAD and even rented from them over the last year until I realized I could do everything I need for my company using VCarve Pro. The fact that I own the software and only pay for upgrades still astonishes me, and the guides and the VCarve toolpath are amazing. Please extend my thanks to the entire team. The new features in v12 made my decision to finally drop Fusion even easier. Your software has changed my life for the better. Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

"Well, I have to admit that the new inlay toolpath is an incredibly powerful tool from Vectric. It’s perfect for face grain inlays and delivers flawless results! Shout-out to Vectric—thanks for this awesome feature!"

Nik - Broinwood

"Hello, I have done the little Gnome and just uploaded the little airplane. The Gnome came out just beautiful and I have high hopes for the little airplane. You guys have made a beautiful difference to 3D CNC, I can't wait to try some of the 700 that are going to be available after I sign up for the annual subscription. Keep up the great work, and the more designs the better."

EasyCarve Testimonial - Lee Ostergren

"Been using Vcarve Pro for two years with no problems, exceptionally bug free for such a complex system. Updating policy in-between versions is generous and works flawlessly. My only support question was answered promptly with helpful explanations and suggestions on how to go forward."

Olafur Jakobsson

"Try before you buy makes a lot of sense to me. I like their licensing model: pay once, own forever. Major upgrades do have an additional fee, but I find it reasonable considering all the new features they add and old ones they improve."

Uncle Bob

"I love their Forum. Very active and members are always ready to help with any CNC or software issue. A great place to learn about CNC design, hardware, tooling, cutting, woods, learning the various Vectric products, etc."

Uncle Bob

"I have used VCP for about 8 years through 3 or 4 major version updates. The features are perfect for beginners and experts. The drawing tools are what you would expect from any vector art package but I am not an artist. I purchase and download vector artwork and modify to suit my needs. Where VCP shines here are the "Vector validator" for making sure purchased artwork is defect-free and other tools for correcting defects in artwork. This has saved me a lot of time preparing artwork for cutting and machine time avoiding overly complicated artwork."

KG5000

"Been using Aspire since 2009 and it is constantly being updated and additional features added. Their upgrade policy is second to none when you upgrade from VCarve to Aspire. Their forum where actual users answer your questions is the best I've ever dealt with. They have numerous tutorials that are updated with each new version. Once you learn the software it is a joy to use."

John Lyons

"I have been a Vectric Vcarve Desktop user for 5 years. While the software may be a bit intimidating at first glance, it quickly becomes very easy to navigate and can help you create great vector graphics for CNC carving with its intuitive drawing tools, built-in clipart, projects and toolpath generation. There are dozens if not hundreds of Vectric created (and user created) video tutorials available online to guide everyone from the novice CNC user to the seasoned user, helping you to create exceptional finished carvings with very little effort. I’m not sure how I could operate my modest woodcarving business without it."

Steve H. Ohio USA

"I use VCarve Pro and it serves my needs quite well. The learning curve is gradual and intuitive. The help menu is comprehensive and the forum support is about the best of any I have ever encountered. It is well monitored and supported by avid users with tons of experience coming from backgrounds in engineering, teaching, fabricating etc. There are a number of training videos both on the Vectric site and of course YouTube. And being able to start with affordability in mind to get your feet wet and apply the cost of that initial investment toward upgrades going forward allows you to build up to the level of product capability that you need in the end."

G Edward

"The Best thing about Vectric, is the online forum, Friendly, people, willing to help, at any skill level. I, have been a user, for 15 years. Working with Sacred Art and Ornamental, woodworking, projects, Aspire, has worked well, as our primary, Design Software, as well as, driving our, CNC Cutting Business. I can't say enough good thing about the Company"

William D Williamson

"The Vectric team are brilliant. They don't leave you to figure things out for yourself. They support you all the way. After about two years I still consider myself as a beginner. The help and support is fantastic. The software is super fantastic. The tutorial videos are so good. If you combine it all together then you get a very wise purchase. If you are getting a CNC then get this software. It is easy to use and you get amazing results."

Steven Rieley

"Great software, stable, quick & regularly updated. Owned software, once you buy it you have it forever, You get a shed load of 3d clipart included as well, marvelous! I have been in contact with Vectric staff a few times for different reasons, they seem a good bunch & cant do enough. The software paid for itself pretty quickly by being easier to use and help me get more stuff done. Yep, I'm a fan , I'd buy it again."

Dave Hebson

"I have used Vectric Aspire since 2021. It's a great product. I do mostly 3d relief artwork on a hobby quality CNC machine, but I mostly design 3d relief for others. I find the product intuitive and easy to learn but there are tons of shortcuts and tricks that have a steeper learning curve. Well worth the time to investigate those. I would buy it again in a minute...but I don't have to...because this license is forever. That said...I do buy the updates which are also well worth it."

Charles Heubach

"I have been using Aspire since version 4.5 (that is over 10 years, we are now in Version 12.5+). I am very well pleased both with the capabilities of the software and the ease of use. The training materials are excellent, as is the support from the Vectric team. The Vectric-supported forum is also a huge plus--very helpful and friendly members that assist with problems in learning and application"

Michael Minton

"On recommendation from another user, I started out with Aspire V8.5. I have updated every version since I started. Overall, the program is solid. There have been issues which are quickly addressed and updates posted. I like the license format. Hopefully the company maintains the perpetual license format rather than subscription into the future. As for support, it is hard to believe how responsive the support people are. Email sent during working hours is within that day, or the next day."

Milo Scott

"I have had Vectric products for many years now and am very happy with it. I started with Cut2d and now have Aspire 12+. I have carved hundreds of art pieces and signs, both custom and inspirational. The software works very well and the latest AI, Easy Create, is really fantastic. I have already carved several pieces using pictures and using the AI. Their video tutorials are really well done and I have used many of them to learn the software. I have done Vcarve, 2D, and 3D pieces from downloaded images and ones I created myself using the Aspire software. The support forum has answered many of my questions and given me a place to display some of my better pieces. I haven't needed Vectric's customer support, but from what I see on the forum, it is very good. Keep up the good work, Vectric team."

Joe Armstrong-Nelson

"I've been using Vectric products since 2010 and I can't say enough good things about them. Compared to other products they are very reasonable for what you get. Once you buy a product, you don't have to pay additional fees for support and you're not forced to upgrade. If you don't need what an upgrade offers, then don't upgrade. You can also start out with their more basic programs (such as Cut2D) and if you need more features, you only pay the difference to get something like Aspire instead of having to pay the full price of the more advanced program. That in itself is a bargain. Vectric support is second to none regardless of what some of these other reviews say."

Douglas Wright

"I bought Vectric Aspire about 4 years ago. I started with V Carve and joined the Forum. Even though I had hardly used it I upgraded to Aspire after seeing what it could do. I've still only scratched the surface of what it Can do but what I've done I'm very pleased with. The Vectric team were very helpful on the couple of occasions I've had to contact them. Now the important bit . . . . I am VERY happy with my purchase."

Jim Davies

"I have used Vectric products since 2007. Cut3D, PhotoCarve, VCarve and Aprire. I have use many CAD CAM package in my 40+ year career as a professional manufacturing engineer. Using Vectric is very user friendly and a great user forum. A few quirks, sure, but Vectric actually DOES listen to the users and every upgrade has fixes and nice enhancements. For the price, Vectric is really good."

Leo Voisine

"I’ve been using Vectric products since 2005, originally for our CNC woodworking business. The software that came with our machine at that time was clunky and limited, so I switched to Vectric’s VCarve Wizard on the recommendation of another shop owner. It was a game-changer. It was far more intuitive, with highly accurate previews that removed much of the guesswork. This was especially helpful because my business partner was skilled with tools but not with computers. I highly recommend both the software and the company."

Randall Newcomb

"My initial entry to cnc hardware & software was 5 years ago. I spent a year with the software produced by the maker of my machine before purchasing Vectric V-carve Pro. Like any new software it took a little while to get used to, however I found the learning curve quite gentle, I was amazed (and still am) at how much simpler most actions are with Vectric software than with my initial provider. If only I had known then what I now know I would have purchased it from day one, it would have made many aspects MUCH easier. Vectric is constantly to innovating producing updated and enhanced software. I can highly recommend their software!"

Graham

"I have been a Vectric customer for about 10 years now, starting out with Vcarve Pro and then upgrading to Aspire about 2 years ago. Using the Vectric software is like driving a Ferrari for the first time, lots of horse power and somewhat intimidating until you get your feet good and wet. As you become more and more comfortable with the power, you will amaze yourself with the capabilities it possesses. Don’t sit on the fence about buying the software. Download the free trial, give it a thorough evaluation. From my perspective, you can’t go wrong if you’re serious about CNC."

DonM

"I have been a user of Vectric software since version 1. I now do mostly carving on my CNC rotary attachment making walking sticks, pens, bowls, and other things. I know and have used many other good software products but none can compare to the range of tools and capabilities of my Aspire software. Now with the new Vectric AI tools to design with, my creative time is now a fraction of what I used to have to do. Vectric software is first class as is their support. I am often asked by many new-comers for advice on CNC machines (I have built quite a few from scratch) and software. My answer for the the software question is always the same - start with the best - go with Vectric!"

Paul Fleming

"I've been a Vectric customer for 20 years now. When I first came across their software it was the answer to my prayers as I had been really struggling to get to grips with CNC in general and I didn't fancy forking out the sums that other software cost in case it wasn't for me in the end. I found it easy and intuitive to learn and the customer support was first class. I've never regretted my decision and have upgraded many times over the years to the latest versions and new releases such as Aspire. I appreciate the fact that I can pay for the software once and then it's up to me if I want to upgrade rather than having to pay an annual license fee as many other companies in the field insist on."

Adrian Matthews

"I've been using Aspire since 2009 for both hobby and commercial CNC work. Working with Vectric has been one of the best software experiences I have ever had. The software is remarkably bug-free. The preview function is dead-on - if it's in the preview, you will see it in your work, as long as your CNC machine is configured properly. There has been a steady progression of features that have improved the software over the years, and the Vectric staff have been a pleasure to interact with on the occasions I have done so. If you have a hobby CNC machine, or if you need to do quick programs in a commercial setting, the Vectric products are excellent value for the money."

Steve Godding

"I love Vectric - having bought VCarve Pro to use in combination with my Ooznest WorkBee cnc machine on the advice of YouTuber, maker and guitar player Tim Sway (visiting at Maker central a few years back) I've no regrets. All my design work is done in Affinity Designer as that's familiar territory for me, then imported flawlessly into VCarve to set up all the paths etc ready for export to my cnc machine. With zero experience I was able to follow some of their online tutorials (nicely shot and with excellent pace) to get started and was soon carving and cutting like a pro. It's intuitive and easy to understand despite the vast array of options and strategies that can be applied. Combined with a good catalogue of designs to use, there's no reason not to get proficient quickly. At the yearly Makers Central show in the NEC, Tod, Beki and the rest of the team greet you like old friends, they're genuinely lovely people."

kellyandrewsands

"When I started my CNC journey the software I used was very basic and lacked advanced features. Everyone in the forums told me to use vectric if I wanted to advance in CNC and they were right! It was very easy to understand upon install, they had a full library of tutorials and files so I could learn and practice 3d carving and their tool library made first time carving very easy. The most recent updates have been very solid from a feature standpoint and it’s not monthly subscription model like a lot of those other softwares which is nice. Buy once, cry once and use solid software"

Kimani Van Strayhorn

"I've tried other CNC softwares on the market and Vectric is by far the most robust and easy to use. In my experience, the support team has been great. Anytime I've had a question or an issue it has been resolved. Combine this with the free project files, and extensive education videos I feel like they really care about my CNC success."

Andrew Bird

"It might be intimidating at first, but once you dive into it, the softwares vrom Vectric are really intuitive. I wouldn't use anything else for my CNC needs. Don't be scared, jump in!"

Pat Lap

"I can't say enough good things about Vectric, the software and the team. They really are the absolute best! I have had the pleasure of working with them now multiple times and have never been let down. Their support is amazing, quick to respond and knowledgeable. Yes there are orher options out there, but none does it better or as comprehensive as Vectric. I like it say "all roads lead to Vectric" because no matter what program you start with, you'll end up using a Vectric program."

Alex Duffey

"Vectric is based in England, which is good for the US as they utilize Metric and Standard measurements and both are interchangeable n their programs. They provide good response time to concerns from clients and you gotta understand, there is a 6 hour lag if you email them in the afternoon, it's night over there. I have never had an issue in Vectric programs that was not resolved rapidly. I have used Both VCarve Pro and Aspire as well as my students. I would not even consider switching to anything else. Another advantage is they are employee owned, they all have a personal desire to keep the customers happy. I have attended one of their stateside events, WOW what a group to converse with and no one was left out. Good company, good product, and good Customer Service."

Billy Peacock

"Excellent software. I've been using this for a few months now with a Shapeoko 4x4 machine and Genmitsu 6050 and it is great. REally functional and easy to use. Highly recommend"
