Elfie

Traditionally each year Beki creates a 3D Christmas character so it came as no surprise that she wanted to add another Christmas critter to the family!

Taking to Aspire, Beki modeled, sculpted and machined a cute two sided Elf called “Elfie”. He sits at a proud 7.5” inches tall which makes him the perfect mantel decoration this holiday season, and combine him with past characters like Rudi the Reindeer, the Snowman and the Nordic Santa, then you have one awesome festive collection!

This two-sided project consists of 3D toolpaths, projected v-carving and 2D toolpaths for dowel placement and for creating a flat bottom in order for Elfie to stand proud.

She finished with a simple tung oil to give it a Christmas glossy glow!

This project is available for both Aspire and VCarve users, where Aspire users can explore the building blocks that Beki created to build the finished model. For VCarve users we have included the Top and Bottom V3M files that you can import and create your own file too!
