Gert Burkhart – Scalloped Cherry Bowl

We are excited to bring you a brand new FREE PROJECT courtesy of one of our wonderful community maker – Gert Burkhardt aka Tailmaker!

Gert Burkhardt can often be found sharing his puzzles, finger joint automation and guilloche pattern projects on the Vectric forum. He loves a geometric challenge and is always pushing the boundaries to test his skills to the limit. His aim is always to find more effective ways to make things, and if that helps another maker save time or materials, that’s his job done.

Gert wanted this latest project to be a bit different and using Aspire, he came up with the idea to create this scalloped cherry bowl using a perfectly sized wood blank in his store. Why not have a go at practicing some two-sided machining while brushing up on your moulding toolpaths and create this a practical project you can use over again, perhaps somewhere for your favorite fruit or storage for your jewellery, watch, wallet or glasses. Make it your own!

Which Vectric software do I need to be able to open the free project files?
