I’m Michael Tyler and for more than 8 years I have been creating Vectric’s Free monthly projects. I’ve made everything from spring wreaths and mantle clocks, to snow sledges and cheeseboards.

Since 2018 free projects also come with their own video that tells the story of the project from start to finish.
This month's free project created by Michael Tyler for Vectric is a practical 'slot togther' umbrella stand, available free of charge to all Aspire 4.5 and VCarve Pro 7.5 users.
The design is very easy to assemble, as the 19 cut pieces simply slot together to form the stand you can see below. You could then use the project within your own home, as a gift, or to sell at a local craft faire. You could also customize the design by using different materials and finishes, or even carve further decorative elements.
The finished dimensions of this project are approximately 13.5" Dia x 18" Tall.
