In this video we discuss the toolpath setup for each element of the lion head door knocker. We'll be looking at various toolpath techniques to machine the base, face and the handle so that we have a finished functioning lion head door knocker. We'll be covering various techniques from basic 3D Roughing, 3D Finishing and basic profiling toolpaths along with more interesting techniques such as creating pocket toolpaths to fix and layer the face to the base shape. We'll also look at two sided machining for the face and the handle shapes.
