Holz-Handwerk 2022

Holz-Handwerk ran across 4 days from 12-15 July 2022 at the Messezentrum Exhibition Center in Nuremberg, Germany. For the first time since 2018, after a four year break due to lockdown restrictions, woodworking communities came from all over Europe in eager anticipation to network face-to-face and catch up on industry news, latest trends and innovations and training opportunities.

The long-awaited Holz-Handwerk returned for its first-ever summer edition having previously taken place in March every two years since 1992. Vectric are passionate about supporting our fellow creators and our first visit to Holz-Handwerk surprised and reassured us with a warm welcome from many of our customers coming to say hello, plus a steady flow of prospects wanting to learn all about CNC and how Vectric can help them make money out of their hobby. We were delighted to meet so many of our CNC partners who were exhibiting in various halls around the show. We enjoyed seeing their latest CNC solutions and exploring more partnership working opportunities, and we are very pleased to announce the sign-up of new partner CNC Holzfräse who join our network of over 350 Vectric authorized partners supporting our customers worldwide. Everyone enjoyed sharing their news and views on the worldwide woodworking scene, and what a fantastic discovery the show was for helping the chips fly for everyone who enjoys planing, sawing, grinding, and milling!

Our stand showcased the latest software capabilities in Version 11 Aspire, VCarve, Cut2D, and PhotoVCarve, focusing on3D Raster, 3D Import & Slice, DXF Processing, Pocket & Profile, Multi-Part files, Filleting & Inlays, and Toolpath Texturing. Coupled with our live CNC machining, visitors were able to see just how easy and cost-effective it is to turn their creative ideas into fantastic workable CNC projects for sign making and decorative carving. It was also wonderful to see so many schools and CNC students attending to learn and bring fresh new ideas.

For the first time ever we were also able to offer English and German language demos with the help of our talented partner and special guest Maik Kämpfer of Wooden Signs https://www.instagram.com/woodensignsde/ who closely supports our growing community of makers, vloggers and hobbyists from across Germany. We also continue to support our non-English speaking community with our websites now live in German and Italian plus training videos also in German with a number of other languages in the pipeline.

With more than 700 exhibitors from 33 countries and 28,500 trade visitors from over 100 countries worldwide, Holz Handwerk covered woodworking trends and technologies for wood, woodworking machinery, wood-based materials, fixing equipment, hardware, components, tools, finishing technology, grinding aids, polishing aids, disposal equipment, electrical and pneumatic tools, adhesives and coatings, as well as window, door and façade construction. We would like to extend a huge thank you to the event organizers and everyone who came to see us, and we look forward to seeing you all for another successful Holz-Handwerk from 19-22 March 2024!
