Job Description

You'll lead a series of key events and projects throughout the calendar year. Organising all elements, communicating plans with the rest of the team to ensure continuous high service levels are achieved and deadlines are reached.

The key responsibilities will include:

•    Full Project Management of various events from development stage, planning and design with the team and then overseeing on-site delivery
•    Proposal writing, budget control and sourcing suppliers and venues
•    Adding your creative input and new ideas to meet and enhance marketing brief’s
•    Remain up to date on new event concepts and market trends
•    Grow your venue and supplier knowledge
•    Diary management and room bookings where required
•    Book accommodation and travel
•    Initiate and coordinate meetings to discuss ongoing projects and events
•    Liaising with key contacts outside the business to ensure all marketing materials are received to deadlines
•    Writing up case studies and reviewing copy for literature and websites
•    Post daily on social media channels and respond to any posts and messages
•    Management of exhibition materials
•    Mock-up build of exhibition stands on site
•    Collate information and create reports for monthly meetings

The successful candidate must have the following skills and experience:

•    Demonstrate previous event management experience for live corporate events including conferences, training events, exhibitions and entertainment
•    Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
•    Be creative and have a good understanding of design and event experience
•    Be highly organised and have the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
•    Ability to work to multiple deadlines and manage time effectively
•    Excellent attention to detail
•    Be happy working within a team and be willing to contribute to new ideas or new processes
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•    Excellent at planning, forecasting and monitoring project progress

Must be willing and able to travel to other countries in particular the US and Europe.

Salary:

£20k - £25k Depending on experience
