Makers Central 2019

Makers Central ran across two days from 11th - 12th May 2019 at the NEC arena in Birmingham UK. This was the second annual event which bought the YouTube Maker community together from around the world. Amongst the YouTubers who presented at this year’s event were; Britain's own mad inventor Colin Furze, Jimmy Diresta, Bobby Duke, Laura Kampf, James Bruton and many more.

We were thrilled to be the main stage sponsors for this year’s event following a hugely successful show last year. In comparison this year’s event saw more than 9,000 people attend across the two days compared with 6,500 attendees last year.

On our stand we showcased the capabilities of our software with live demonstrations on the stand both days, as well as a live Q&A session from Jimmy DiResta. The audience had the opportunity to meet Jimmy and ask their questions to find out how he makes money from using a CNC.Mit über 250 Ausstellern deckte Makers Central nahezu alle Handwerksbereiche ab, darunter Drechseln, Schmieden und andere Metallbearbeitungstechniken, CNC-Bearbeitung, Textilkunst, 3D-Druck, Möbelbau, Eisskulpturen und so ziemlich alles andere. Zu den weiteren CNC-Unternehmen zählten unsere Partner HPC Lasers, 3D-Tek, Robosavvy, Ooznest, Sagetech und Trend.

Ein herzliches Dankeschön an die Organisatoren der Veranstaltung – sie haben einen fantastischen Job gemacht! Ob die Messe nächstes Jahr wieder stattfindet, ist noch ungewiss, aber wir drücken die Daumen.
