"I love Vectric - having bought VCarve Pro to use in combination with my Ooznest WorkBee cnc machine on the advice of YouTuber, maker and guitar player Tim Sway (visiting at Maker central a few years back) I've no regrets. All my design work is done in Affinity Designer as that's familiar territory for me, then imported flawlessly into VCarve to set up all the paths etc ready for export to my cnc machine. With zero experience I was able to follow some of their online tutorials (nicely shot and with excellent pace) to get started and was soon carving and cutting like a pro. It's intuitive and easy to understand despite the vast array of options and strategies that can be applied. Combined with a good catalogue of designs to use, there's no reason not to get proficient quickly. At the yearly Makers Central show in the NEC, Tod, Beki and the rest of the team greet you like old friends, they're genuinely lovely people."
